Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Project Manager for our Denver, CO office. This role supports remote work from a mutually acceptable U.S. location, with periodic travel to WSP/client sites.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, schedules, and documents, and drive contract discussions while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction across mid-to-large projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• PM certification required (e.g., PMP, CAP-M).
• 10+ years of post-education project management experience.
• Strong understanding of A/E/C PM processes.
• Analytical and organizational skills with business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and PM tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level project leadership and guidance across administrative, commercial, and technical project components.
• Oversee budgets, hours, expenses, deliverables, and QA/QC across projects.
• Lead development of proposals, scopes, schedules, and resource plans.
• Coordinate staff for reviews, maintain QA/QC records and reviews.
• Mentor project team members for growth and development.
• Perform margin analyses and risk contingencies.
• Attend contract negotiations and client meetings as needed.
• Maintain project documentation like PMP, QP, PSP, and risk plans.
• Communicate project status to clients and leadership.
