Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team in Colorado. The role provides technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission lines up to 765 kV.

Flexible work arrangements include remote options or from Rocky Mountain offices. You will coordinate with clients, manage schedules, lead project teams, ensure quality and safety, and mentor staff while advancing professional growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of post-education experience in electrical transmission design.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; PE license preferred (multi-state).
• Strong knowledge of NESC, RUS, and GO-95 and PLS-CADD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765 kV.
• Develop project execution layouts and maintain the project schedule.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure QA/QC adherence.
• Provide staff mentorship and participate in industry conferences for knowledge transfer.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
