Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to lead planning, design and delivery of high‑voltage transmission projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

This role offers flexible work arrangements, with the option to work remotely or from WSP offices across the Rocky Mountain region. Strong leadership and technical expertise are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field.
Professional Engineering (PE) licensure required.
7–10 years’ experience in transmission design/management and leading multi‑disciplinary teams.
Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and PLS‑CADD operation.
Excellent written and verbal English communication; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute engineering of transmission projects up to 765 kV.
Develop initial project execution layouts and establish efficient project plans.
Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules and deliverables.
Conduct regular project meetings and coordinate with clients and internal teams.
Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed and participate in knowledge transfer.
