Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission EPC Principal to join our Power Delivery Practice and lead pursuit-to-execution efforts on AD projects. The role requires heavy collaboration with construction partners and HDR technical leads to analyze risks, route design, and material takeoffs.

The candidate will manage scope, schedule, and budgets, develop FEED templates, and build high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Pursuit Champion / Manager on Transmission EPC projects and transition to Project Manager after award.
• Facilitate technical risk analysis, routing design and bill-of-material takeoff support with partners and HDR leads.
• Lead scope, schedule and budget development for AD projects and coordinate with land, environmental, GIS, real estate and other teams.
• Estimate technical investments prior to Go/No-Go; share risk analyses with leaders to decide pursuits.
• Develop FEED templates and stand up project teams; mentor and lead engineers and discipline practitioners.
