Job summary

HDR is seeking a national Transmission EPC Principal within the Power Delivery Practice to lead pursuit efforts and drive project execution in collaboration with HDR’s global staff and partners. The role focuses on technical bid development, estimating, risk analysis, and transition to execution across AD delivery models.

Responsibilities include leading scope, schedule, and budgets for AD projects, interfacing with subcontractors, and building FEED teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering.
Professional Engineer license.
PMI-PMP certification.
10+ years in transmission design.
Experience leading EPC projects.

Responsibilities

Serve as Pursuit Champion on Transmission EPC projects and transition to execution.
Facilitate risk analysis, routing, design and BOM takeoff support with partners.
Lead scope, schedule and budget development for AD projects.
Estimate technical investments and share risk assessments with leadership.
Develop FEED templates, standards and templates for EPC pursuits and projects.
