Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission EPC Principal to lead pursuit and FEED activities within our Power Delivery Practice. You will coordinate with HDR staff and construction partners to optimize risk, schedule, and budget for AD projects.

The role requires a BS in engineering, PE license, PMP preferred, and 10 years in transmission design with 5 years leading EPC teams. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• 10 years of experience in transmission design.
• 5 years of experience leading EPC project engineering teams.
• Experience developing EPC design and construction packages.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pursuit Champion / Manager on Transmission EPC projects.
• Transition awarded projects to Project Manager and execution team.
• Lead risk analysis discussions and provide VE and constructability solutions.
• Develop scope, schedule and budgets for AD projects with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with land survey, geotechnical, GIS, and environmental teams.
• Support Go/No-Go discussions, risk assessments, and proposals.
