Job summary

HDR is seeking a national Transmission EPC Principal within our Power Delivery Practice to join our national Alternative Delivery leadership team. You will drive bid development, estimating, and transition projects from pursuit to execution.

The role requires leading engineering teams, coordinating with land survey, geotechnical, environmental, and GIS staff, and delivering FEED workstreams. A PE license and PMP are preferred, with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pursuit Champion / Manager on Transmission EPC projects and transition to Project Manager after award.
• Facilitate risk analysis, preliminary routing and bill-of-material takeoff support; provide value engineering solutions.
• Lead scope, schedule and budget development for AD projects; coordinate with land survey, geotechnical, environmental and GIS teams.
