Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission EPC Principal to join our national Alternative Delivery leadership team within the Power Delivery Practice. You will drive pursuit to execution across EPC projects, coordinating with HDR staff and partners on risk, scope, schedule and budget.

Ideal candidates balance deep technical EPC transmission design experience with strong leadership, mentoring, and ability to manage multi-location teams. Travel up to 20% is required, and a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Pro Engineering license and PMP considered a plus.
• Proven 10+ years in transmission design and EPC leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pursuit Champion on Transmission EPC projects and transition to project teams after award.
• Lead scope, schedule, and budget development for AD projects and collaborate with partners.
• Mentor and lead multiple remote engineering teams across locations.
