Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission EPC Principal to join our national Power Delivery team and guide pursuit to execution across multiple sites. The role focuses on technical bid development, estimating, and transitioning projects from pursuit to delivery, with emphasis on EPC and AD methodologies.

The candidate will lead engineering teams, manage scope and budgets, and collaborate with partners to deliver reliable, resilient power infrastructure while traveling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in transmission design.
• 10+ years leading diverse engineering teams.
• Experience in EPC design and construction packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit and transition to project execution for Transmission EPC.
• Facilitate risk analysis and design discussions with partners.
• Develop scope, schedule and budget for AD projects.
• Interface with contractors and HDR subconsultants on risk.
• Lead FEED development and project teams.
