Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission EPC Principal to lead pursuit, risk analysis, and front-end design efforts across the national Alternative Delivery program. You will coordinate with HDR’s power delivery teams and partners to develop scope, estimates, and schedules for EPC opportunities up to 500 kV while managing dispersed teams.

You will influence design, procurement and construction packages, mentor engineers, and lead technical discussions with vendors and clients. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering Registration is preferred.
• Experience leading EPC projects and diverse teams is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pursuit Champion/Manager on Transmission EPC projects.
• Lead risk analysis, scope, schedule, and budget development for AD projects.
• Coordinate with land survey, geotech, GIS and environmental staff for FEED and project handoffs.
• Develop design templates, standards, and EPC best practices for pursuit and delivery groups.
