HDR is seeking a Transmission EPC Principal in HDR's Power Delivery Practice. The role focuses on pursuing and delivering EPC transmission projects, coordinating with partners, and leading technical risk analyses across multiple locations.

The candidate should bring a Bachelor's in engineering, a PE license, 10+ years in transmission design, and 5+ years leading EPC teams. Travel up to 20% is expected, and the position reports to the Alternative Delivery Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in transmission design.
• Minimum 5 years leading engineering teams on EPC projects.
• Experience with EPC design and construction packages.

Responsabilités

• Serve as Pursuit Champion/Manager on Transmission EPC projects and transition to execution teams.
• Conduct risk analysis, preliminary routing design and bill-of-material takeoff support.
• Lead scope, schedule, and budget development for AD projects with cross-functional teams.
• Interface with contractors and subconsultants to discuss risk identification and mitigation.
• Contribute to front-end engineering and design (FEED) and template development for EPC pursuits.
• Provide technical leadership as engineering manager or discipline lead.
