TRC, Member of WSP, seeks a seasoned Transmission Engineer to lead electrical systems projects in a senior capacity. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate project teams, and ensure design and construction meet rigorous standards.

The role emphasizes deep knowledge of transmission engineering, PLS-CADD and related tools, and strong collaboration with project stakeholders. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires 15+ years in transmission engineering; PE preferred.
• Degreed Civil/Structural Engineer or equivalent.
• Proficiency with power line and structure modeling tools (PLS-CADD, POLE, TOWER).
• Familiar with industry codes (NESC, ASCE, ACI) and strong leadership/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as responsible engineer on assigned projects, providing technical leadership and coordination.
• Monitor construction to ensure conformance with plans, specs, and codes; manage schedules and budgets.
• Lead professional development of department personnel and support travel as needed.
