Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Active PE licensure.
• This is a supervisory level position requiring 10+ years of experience in Power Transmission Design.
• Proven ability to supervise Engineers & Engineering Technicians while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Strong knowledge of overhead and underground transmission facilities and integration into daily activities.
• Experience with NESC, ASCE, IEEE and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical staff in designs, cost estimates, and customer billing.
• Manage schedules and assign projects and daily work.
• Mentor staff on engineering principles and codes.
• Instruct staff on company policies and safety terms.
• Coordinate internal/external design reviews before submissions.
• Collaborate with department managers on policies and procedures.
• Maintain client relationships and seek future opportunities.
• Fill in as Transmission Engineering Manager when needed.
