Think Power Solutions is seeking a Transmission Construction Representative (TCR) to oversee contractor performance on the owner's electric transmission system. You will ensure work complies with contract terms, safety standards, and design specifications across projects from substations to upgrades.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in transmission line and substation construction, strong leadership, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings while mentoring junior staff.

Formación

• 6+ years of relevant transmission line and substation work experience required.
• Experience working in the utility industry is highly preferred.
• Proficient at using a computer, iPad and Microsoft Office products.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must currently be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure contractors adhere to all contract requirements while performing construction on the electric transmission system.
• Monitor the safe completion of work, ensuring alignment with design specifications and safety standards.
• Manage a wide scope of projects, including substation upgrades and the construction of new substations.
• Identify potential issues that could impact project success, such as design flaws and material shortages.
• Assist in resolving issues to maintain project timelines, quality, and safety standards.
• Apply expert knowledge of line, substation, and civil construction requirements with broad T&D understanding.
• Interpret engineering drawings and guide their application in construction.
• Mentor and train lower-level Transmission Construction Representatives.
• Ensure compliance with Owner construction standards and safety terms.
