Job summary

Think Power Solutions LLC seeks a Transmission Construction Representative (TCR 2) to oversee contractor performance on electric transmission projects, including substation upgrades and new substations. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, and conformance to design specs while managing diverse projects and mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a strong background in transmission line and substation construction, plus problem-solving, leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in construction management or engineering is a plus.
• 6+ years of transmission line and substation experience required.
• Experience in utility industry is highly preferred.
• Compliance management experience is a plus.
• Proficient with computer, iPad and Office products; strong communication skills; valid driver’s license; work eligibility in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms for electric transmission projects.
• Monitor safety and alignment with design specifications; manage substation upgrades and new substations.
• Identify issues impacting timelines, quality, and safety; resolve with leadership and guidance as needed.
• Interpret engineering drawings and apply them to construction; ensure compliance with Owner standards.
