Job summary

You will supervise, mentor, and coordinate the development of designs, cost estimates, and customer communications while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety requirements. Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering.
• Active PE licensure.
• 10+ years of experience in power transmission design.
• Ability to supervise engineers and technicians while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical staff in preparation of utility design, estimates and customer billing.
• Manage schedules and assign projects to team members.
• Develop staff through mentoring and instruction on engineering principles and codes.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, standards (NESC, ASCE, IEEE) and company policies.
• Coordinate design reviews and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Step in as Transmission Engineering Manager when needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and pursue new opportunities.
