Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager for Computer Vision to define the strategy and roadmaps for the CV Platform. You will lead cross‑functional teams, collaborate with product leaders, and drive the adoption of AI models and infrastructure across the product portfolio.

Responsibilities include owning MRDs/PRDs, managing the lifecycle of reusable CV models, and defining KPIs/OKRs to measure platform success and business impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical program management experience, with focus on platform products, AI/ML, or cross‑functional technical domains.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience building ML models, production ML pipelines, CV algorithms, or ML/data oriented software.
• Deep understanding of computer vision and ML lifecycle (MLOps), data platforms, and AI infrastructure.
• Experience defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps with KPIs/OKRs.
• Strong analytical skills with AI performance metrics, real‑time video processing, and inference optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership at a Principal level, influencing senior leaders and communicating roadmaps clearly.
• Customer‑focused with experience in early stage discovery and user needs.
• Domain knowledge in video analytics for security/retail/manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, definition, and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform.
• Engage with internal product leaders to define platform requirements (APIs, capabilities, scalability).
• Drive adoption of platform services across Motorola's product portfolio.
• Author MRDs, PRDs, and user stories for core platform capabilities (model serving, data pipelines, edge‑to‑cloud sync).
• Own lifecycle for central CV models and foundational AI infrastructure—from ideation to deployment and deprecation.
• Define and track platform metrics (adoption, performance, latency, cost efficiencies) and outcomes.
• Conduct market research and customer discovery to identify opportunities and inform build vs buy decisions.
