Job summary

Branch is seeking a Senior Territory Manager to own a defined state or set of states, growing the volume and quality of business from independent agencies. You will manage production targets, build trust with agency principals, and drive adoption of Branch's quoting tools in an in-person, field-based role.

The role emphasizes a relationship-first approach, self-directed territory plans, and translating field insights into strategic actions for Branch's IA go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a quota- or target-carrying field sales role where you owned a defined geography or book of business.

Responsibilities

• Own the territory plan and decide which relationships to build and which to prioritize against your production target.
• Carry a production target for bound premium and policy count in your territory and track progress throughout the period.
• Get in front of agents with in-person visits, lunch-and-learns, and local events to build face-to-face relationships.
• Ask for commitments and drive specific production commitments from priority agencies.
• Pitch Branch's frictionless value proposition and ensure target producers understand Branch’s core value.
• Drive quality quoting behavior by educating agencies on Branch’s ideal risk profile so bids bind and perform.
• Train the relevant stakeholders at agencies to quote in Branch's quoting platform before moving to a comparative rater.
• Activate and retain producing agencies by growing share and re-engaging those who go quiet.
• Address objections directly and translate field feedback into actionable insights for IA strategy.
