Job summary

PNC is seeking a Lead Teller to join its Retail Banking team at the Troy, MI branch. The role focuses on coaching tellers to deliver a unique customer experience, while identifying opportunities to enhance customer financial wellbeing and loyalty.

You will work in-office in a busy branch, supporting daily operations and training new staff. The role emphasizes in-person customer engagement, referrals to branch staff, and leveraging technology to assist customers with transactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in teller roles or related banking duties preferred.
• No degree required; related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Ability to adhere to policies and procedures and manage customer interactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor tellers to deliver a superior customer experience and identify banking opportunities.
• Mentor staff and assist Branch Manager with performance management and hiring processes.
• Engage customers through lobby activities and educate them on PNC products and digital tools.
• Ensure daily teller operations and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
