Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Telecom Engineer IV to provide Tier 3/4 support, engineering, testing and deployment for the Enterprise Voice Team, including Voice Facilities, UCaaS Platform, and VOIP devices.

This role mentors junior team members and collaborates across IT teams to implement robust voice solutions. The position involves project design meetings, hands-on implementation, testing, and deployment with PMs and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Associate degree with 10 years telecom experience required.
• 10+ years in telecommunications with VOIP, PBX, IT project management and call center engineering.
• VoIP knowledge important Advanced.
• PBX knowledge important Advanced.
• Call center administration skills important Advanced, Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Tier 3 and 4 escalations with troubleshooting, isolation, resolution and root cause analysis.
• Attend project design meetings to determine required engineering for enterprise voice projects.
• Oversee implementation, testing and deployment, coordinating with PMs and other IT departments.
• Pursue education to stay current with new voice platform technologies and engage vendors as needed.
