Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; engineering or business degree preferred.
• 3+ years electrical industry experience as a manufacturer or distributor.
• 5+ years sales experience in related industry.
• Strong computer skills and excellent communication.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Calls on clients and management to convince them of the desirability of technical products or services offered.
• Provides technical services to clients relating to specified products.
• Researches customer needs and develops product and application information, demonstrating technology solutions for customers.
• Gathers, analyzes and shares technical information and solutions to internal and external customers.
• Provides pre/post technical sales support for sales teams.
• Acts as a domain expert internally and externally for specified technical products.
• Leads joint sales calls with customers and prospects.
• Supports account representatives in finding new sales opportunities by teaching and guiding.
