Job summary

Wesco seeks a Senior Specialist - Technical Sales to drive large project opportunities and grow specialized product lines in a customer-facing role. You will deliver technical presentations, support the sales team, and act as the product expert across specified categories.

In this role, you will engage in pre/post-sales support, analyze market trends, and promote value-added products while traveling up to 50% to meet clients and close deals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Electrical industry experience as a manufacturer or distributor.
• 5+ year Sales experience in related industry.
• High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Strong computer skills and excellent communication.
• Ability to travel 25% - 50%.

Responsibilities

• Calls on clients, management and representatives to promote technical products or services.
• Provide technical services to clients relating to specified products.
• Research customer needs and develop product and application information; demonstrate solutions.
• Share technical information and solutions with internal and external customers.
• Serve as first line of pre/post technical sales support for sales teams.
• Lead joint sales calls with customers and prospects.
• Assist account representatives in finding new sales opportunities.
