Job summary

Arrow Electronics seeks a Technical Solutions Architect to act as the technical account manager for assigned accounts, shaping strategies across lifecycle, BOM, and product roadmaps. You will partner with Sales to align technical delivery with customer goals and lead complex solution designs.

You will leverage deep domain expertise to stay current with hardware/software trends, support training, and coordinate with project teams. Travel up to 25% within the US and Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
• Expert within own discipline; designs solutions to resolve complex issues where no solution exists.
• Certifications in supplier partner technologies; senior level technical resource; may lead teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and cultivates strong customer and supplier relationships.
• Serves as the Technical account manager on assigned accounts, managing all technical aspects including Life Cycle and BOM management.
• Designs solutions based on strategic business or technical requirements of customers.
• Partners with Sales teams to manage all technical aspects of customers' programs.
• Identify and clarify requirements to determine best solutions; leverage resources to satisfy technical needs and objectives.
• Provide technical expertise and recommend relevant systems, solutions and/or products.
• Stay current on technical specifications and trends to advise customers.
• Track activity using internal tools; may include pre-sales, account management, training.
• Work with sales enablement and project teams; participate in training to maintain knowledge.
• May serve as backup to team members.
