Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
• Expert within own discipline with ability to design solutions for complex issues.
• Specialized depth in key technology domains and use of internal business tools.
• Independent worker with guidance only on complex situations; senior resource to team.
• Leads functional teams or projects and may mentor others; holds supplier partner certifications.
• Career level may stabilize for many years; potential leadership of teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and cultivates strong customer and supplier relationships.
• Acts as Technical account manager on assigned accounts, including life cycle and BOM management.
• Designs solutions based on customer requirements and strategic needs.
• Partners with Sales to manage technical aspects of programs.
• Works with customers to clarify requirements and identify best solutions.
• Stays current on hardware/software specs and technology trends to recommend solutions.
• Tracks activity using appropriate tools; may include pre-sales and training.
• Travels up to 25% within the United States and Canada when required.
