Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Senior Specialist - Technical Sales in San Francisco to lead the technical and commercial aspects of the sales cycle. You will deliver product demonstrations, provide pre- and post-sales support, and partner with the Sales team to close large projects.

You will act as a domain expert, present solutions, and guide customers through complex product sets, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and staying current on industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business preferred.
• 3+ years electrical industry experience as a manufacturer or distributor.
• 5+ years sales experience in related industry.
• Strong computer skills and solid communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Calls on clients, management and representatives to advocate technical products or services.
• Provides technical services related to specified products.
• Gathers and analyzes customer needs and develops product information and demos.
• Leads joint sales calls with customers and prospects.
• Maintains relationships with vendors and internal teams.
