Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Senior Specialist - Technical Sales in Pittsburgh to drive large project opportunities and provide expert technical and commercial guidance throughout the sales cycle.

You will deliver product demonstrations, support the Sales team with deep product knowledge, and build strong client relationships while traveling 25-50% as needed. Excellent communication and industry experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Electrical industry experience as a manufacturer or distributor
• 5+ year Sales experience in related industry
• High School Degree or Equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred

Responsibilities

• Calls on clients and management to persuade them of the value of technical products or services.
• Provides technical services to clients related to specified products.
• Gathers, analyzes and shares technical information and solutions with customers and internal teams.
• First line of pre/post technical sales support for sales teams.
• Leads joint sales calls with customers and prospects.
• Promotes value-added products in competitive situations.
