Wesco is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Specialist - Lighting to drive growth of lighting products through large projects and technical sales expertise in a customer-facing role. You will present and demonstrate lighting solutions, support the sales team, and address customer questions from pre- to post-sale stages.

The role requires field travel and strong product knowledge, with a history of success in electrical industry sales and a commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• High School degree required; engineering or business degree preferred.
• 3+ years electrical industry experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• 5+ years sales experience in related industry.
• Strong computer skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Calls on clients and management to promote technical products and services.
• Provides technical services to clients relating to specified products.
• Gathers, analyzes and shares technical information with internal and external customers.
• Leads joint sales calls with customers and prospects.
• Participates in ongoing training to maintain technical competency in product areas.
