Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Product Manager to oversee the full software development lifecycle for assigned products in support of the VA Office of Connected Care. This fully remote role is located within the United States and requires strong agile practices and stakeholder collaboration.

You will drive product strategy, build roadmaps, collaborate with engineering, data, QA, and operations teams, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining KPIs and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years of experience in product or project management in healthcare/technical environment.
• Experience managing products from requirements through testing and release.
• Strong presentation skills and communication with executives.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and Jira usage.
• Bachelor’s and optionally master’s with certifications (PMP/ITIL/SAFe) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full software development lifecycle for assigned products.
• Facilitate strategy and prioritization discussions and build roadmaps.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, QA and operations to ensure quality and delivery.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives with development teams.
• Ensure cross-functional alignment and track KPIs with data teams.
• Coordinate with strategic delivery partners and vendors.
• Analyze usage to optimize user experience and define success metrics.
