Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Product Manager to oversee the full software development lifecycle for VA Office of Connected Care products. This fully remote role is within the United States and requires a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

You will drive strategy, create action plans, and maintain roadmaps while collaborating with engineering, design, data, QA, and operations teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 8+ years experience in product/project management.
• 6+ years applying product and/or project management in healthcare/technical environments.
• Manage product from requirements through testing and production release.
• Help build products/complex feature sets from ground up and deliver on goals.
• Excellent presentation skills for executive leadership.
• Strong in Agile Project Management methodologies.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira.
• Bachelor's and preferably Master’s and/or certifications (PMP, ITIL, SAFe) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full software development lifecycle for assigned product(s).
• Facilitate strategy and prioritization discussions.
• Transform high-level vision into detailed action plans.
• Build and maintain the product roadmap with stakeholder input.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, QA, and operations for quality and delivery.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews with development teams.
• Ensure cross-functional communication to remove blockers and track progress.
• Partner with data teams to analyze usage, optimize UX, and define KPIs.
• Foster agile best practices and drive execution discipline.
• Coordinate with experts and cross-disciplinary teams for discovery and clear requirements.
• Manage multiple projects including planning, risk management, and reporting.
• Lead meetings to ensure clear objectives and outcomes.
• Conceptualize and advise clients on solutions to meet objectives.
• Work with strategic delivery partners and vendors.
