Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Product Manager to oversee the full software development lifecycle for VA Office of Connected Care products. This fully remote role is based in the United States and requires strong Agile and stakeholder management skills.

You will drive strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and coordinate with engineering, data, QA, and operations to deliver high‑quality solutions. Experience with Appian is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years in product or project management.
• 6+ years applying product/project management in healthcare/technical environments.
• Experience managing products from requirements through testing and production release.
• Experience building products or complex feature sets from ground up.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full software development lifecycle for assigned products.
• Facilitate strategy and prioritization discussions.
• Transform vision into detailed action plans.
• Build and maintain roadmaps aligned with customer needs and feasibility.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, QA, and operations.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives with teams.
• Ensure cross‑functional communication to Remove blockers.
• Partner with data teams to analyze usage and optimize UX.
• Apply Agile practices to improve velocity and execution.
• Coordinate discovery with experts to define clear requirements.
• Manage multiple projects with planning, risk, and status reporting.
• Lead cross‑functional meetings with clear objectives.
