Job summary

EDB, a leader in data and AI platforms built around PostgreSQL, is hiring a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for US-based customers. The TAM will serve as the trusted technical advisor, guiding post-sales accounts on Postgres strategies, architecture, and best practices while driving successful outcomes.

The role requires deep PostgreSQL knowledge, familiarity with other relational databases, and the ability to engage with senior technical leadership. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on with Postgres, Oracle, DB2 or MS SQL Server; relational DB certifications desirable
• Strong data analytics and AI/ML concepts
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Excellent communication with CxO level personnel

Responsibilities

• Establish close working relationship with the customer’s senior technical leadership and act as trusted advisor
• Help EDB customers maximize the value of their Postgres investment
• Assist customers to develop and deploy Postgres strategies
• Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives (consulting, architecture, project management)
• Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of EDB product line
• Provide product feedback to product management based on customer requirements
• Document best practices in developing and deploying EDB solutions
• Serve as front-line technical resource for best practices and questions
• Travel up to 25% as required
