Job summary

EDB is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for the US to build and maintain post-sales relationships with our largest customers. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding architecture, troubleshooting, and deployment of Postgres and AI solutions, ensuring customers achieve value and act as references.

The role requires hands-on Postgres/DBMS experience, strong communication with CxO levels, and the ability to lead initiatives across product, engineering, and customer teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server.
• Strong data management and cloud technology skills.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Establish close working relationship with customer senior technical leadership and become trusted advisor.
• Help EDB customers maximize the value of their Postgres investment.
• Assist customers to develop and deploy Postgres strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives (consulting, architecture, project management).
• Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the EDB product line.
• Provide feedback to product management based on customer requirements.
• Document best practices for deploying EDB solutions.
• Serve as front-line technical resource for best practices and inquiries.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
