Job summary

EDB is hiring a Principal Technical Account Manager for the US. You will build and maintain post-sales relationships with the largest customers, serving as their trusted technical advisor across Postgres and AI workloads.

You will lead architecture guidance, troubleshooting, and strategy deployment while ensuring customer success and referenceability. The role requires deep Postgres experience, cloud and data analytics knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with CxO-level

Qualifications

• At least ten (10) years of hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2 or MS SQL Server.
• Advanced technical skills in data management platforms, operating systems, cloud technologies, and technical architecture.
• Knowledgeable about data analytics and AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Excellent analytical and project management abilities.
• Strong communication with CxO level personnel.

Responsibilities

• Establish a close working relationship with the customer’s senior technical leadership and become their trusted advisor.
• Help customers maximize the value of their Postgres investment.
• Assist customers to develop and deploy Postgres strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives (consulting, architecture guidance, project management).
• Maintain knowledge of the full EDB product line.
• Provide product feedback to PM teams based on customer requirements.
• Document best practices for deploying EDB solutions.
• Serve as a front-line technical resource for best practices and inquiries.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
