Job summary

EDB is hiring a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for the US. The TAM will build and maintain post-sales relationships with large, complex customers and serve as the primary technical contact across all EDB products.

The TAM will act as a trusted advisor, drive Postgres adoption and AI strategy, lead architecture discussions, and manage major Postgres initiatives with customer leadership. Expect travel up to 25% and strong collaboration with product teams.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2 or MS SQL Server (administration, performance, or architecture).
• Advanced technical skills in data management platforms, operating systems, cloud technologies and architectural design.
• Knowledgeable about data analytics and AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex projects.
• Strong communication with CxO level personnel and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's/Master's in IT or CS; advanced certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with senior technical leadership and become a trusted advisor.
• Help customers maximize value of Postgres investments and AI capabilities.
• Assist with Postgres strategy development and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives (consulting, arch, PM).
• Maintain knowledge of EDB product lines and roadmaps.
• Offer clear product feedback to drive improvements.
• Contribute to documenting best practices for deploying EDB solutions.
• Serve as front-line technical resource for customer questions.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
