Job summary

Nutanix is seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager who will act as a trusted advisor, owning strategic operational reviews, health checks, and lifecycle planning for enterprise customers. You will work with operations, engineering, and executives to optimize outcomes and reduce risk while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles (e.g., TAM, Support Engineer, or Technical CEM).
• Deep expertise in at least one domain such as virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, networking, data protection, or distributed systems.
• Broad understanding of data-center infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, DR, HA, security).
• Strong Nutanix platform expertise, including AOS and AHV.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep technical understanding of the customer’s data center and IT initiatives to act as advisor to operations, engineering and executives.
• Lead strategic operational reviews and health checks linking Nutanix recommendations to business outcomes and risk reduction.
• Drive proactive lifecycle planning (software upgrades, capacity planning, resilience) and platform standardization.
• Identify operational and architectural risks and coordinate cross-functional action plans to mitigate them.
• Lead or coordinate critical customer escalations with clear ownership and timely resolution.
