Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a Technical Account Manager to act as a technical advisor and customer advocate for enterprise customers. The role emphasizes collaboration with Support, Services, Education Services, and Sales to optimize customer experience and accelerate value realization.

You will report to the Manager, Services Delivery, with autonomy to shape customer architectures and navigate escalations in a remote-first, cross-functional environment. Some travel is required to support engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as TAM, support engineer, or related roles.
• Proven experience supporting large enterprise, government, or complex environments.
• Deep expertise in virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, networking, or data center IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical understanding of customer priorities and IT initiatives to advise operations and executives.
• Lead strategic operational reviews and health checks linking Nutanix recommendations to outcomes.
• Coordinate lifecycle planning including software upgrades, capacity planning, and platform standardization.
• Identify risks and establish cross-functional action plans to mitigate them.
• Lead or coordinate critical customer escalations with clear ownership and executive communication.
