Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a Technical Account Manager to act as a technical advisor and customer advocate for enterprise clients. The role focuses on optimizing customer experience, driving time to value, and handling complex data-center environments with a cross-functional team.

You will travel periodically to support critical engagements and work within the Customer Experience organization alongside Support, Services, Education Services, and Sales teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen, residing in the continental US.
• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles (e.g., TAM, Support Engineer, or Technical CX Manager).
• Proven experience supporting large enterprise, strategic, or government customers with complex environments.
• Deep expertise in at least one technical domain such as virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, networking, data protection, or distributed systems.
• Broad understanding of data-center infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, DR, HA, security, and workloads.
• Strong Nutanix platform expertise, including AOS and AHV.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep, technical understanding of the customer’s business priorities, data center architecture, and IT initiatives to serve as a trusted advisor to operations, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
• Lead strategic operational reviews and comprehensive health checks that connect Nutanix recommendations to business outcomes, risk reduction, modernization, and operational efficiency.
• Lead proactive lifecycle planning, including software upgrades, capacity planning, resilience, and platform standardization.
• Identify systemic operational and architectural risks and establish cross-functional action plans to mitigate them.
• Lead or coordinate critical customer escalations, ensuring clear ownership, executive communication, and timely resolution.
