Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to serve as a principal technical advisor and voice of the customer to Fortune 500 and startup customers. You will partner with engineering teams and service owners to drive adoption of AWS services, craft strategic solutions, and ensure operational health across customers’ environments.

The TAM acts as a trusted advisor, not a hands-on technician, and will travel 10% or more to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, math, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings.

Responsibilities

• The TAM role is not directly hands on keyboard; you will work with engineers to resolve issues and drive adoption of AWS services.
• Advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices.
• Travel 10% or more as needed.
