Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to be a trusted advisor for customer operations, engineering, and executives. You will own strategic health checks, lifecycle planning, and escalation management while shaping architectures in enterprise data centers.

This primarily remote role requires 8+ years in technical customer-facing positions and deep Nutanix platform knowledge, with travel to support critical engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as TAM, Support Engineer or related role.
• Experience supporting large enterprise, government or strategic customers.
• Deep expertise in virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage or networking domains.
• Broad understanding of data-center infrastructure and enterprise workloads.
• Strong Nutanix platform expertise including AOS and AHV.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep, technical understanding of the customer's priorities and IT initiatives.
• Lead strategic operational reviews and health checks linking Nutanix recommendations to outcomes.
• Lead proactive lifecycle planning including upgrades, capacity, resilience, and standardization.
• Identify systemic risks and establish cross-functional action plans.
• Lead or coordinate critical escalations with clear ownership and timelines.
