Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to act as a technical advisor and customer advocate for enterprise clients. You will optimize customer experience, drive time-to-value, and collaborate with Support, Services, Education, and Sales to ensure operational excellence.

You will report to the Manager, Services Delivery and may travel periodically to support key engagements, understand data center environments, and perform high-impact reviews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Technical Account Manager, Support Engineer, or Technical Customer Experience Manager.
• Proven experience supporting large enterprise, strategic, or government customers with complex environments.
• Deep expertise in at least one technical domain such as virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, networking, data protection, or distributed systems.
• Broad understanding of data-center infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, disaster recovery, high availability, security, and enterprise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep technical understanding of the customer’s priorities, data center architecture, and IT initiatives to serve as a trusted advisor to operations, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
• Lead strategic operational reviews and health checks linking Nutanix recommendations to business outcomes and risk reduction.
• Lead proactive lifecycle planning including software upgrades, capacity planning, resilience, and platform standardization.
• Identify systemic operational and architectural risks and establish cross-functional action plans to mitigate them.
• Lead or coordinate critical customer escalations with clear ownership, executive communication, and timely resolution.
