Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager (TAM) to act as a trusted advisor for customers, primarily in a remote US role. You will work with operations, engineering, and executive stakeholders to optimize data center architectures and Nutanix deployments across hybrid cloud environments.

You will lead health checks, lifecycle planning, and escalation management, ensuring successful outcomes and value realization for customers with complex, enterprise-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• US citizen residing in the continental US.
• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles (e.g., TAM, Support Engineer, or similar).
• Experience supporting large enterprise, government, or strategic customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep technical understanding of the customer’s data center architecture and IT initiatives to advise operations, engineering, and executives.
• Lead strategic operational reviews and health checks connecting Nutanix recommendations to business outcomes.
• Lead lifecycle planning including software upgrades, capacity planning, resilience, and platform standardization.
• Identify systemic risks and create cross-functional action plans to mitigate them.
• Coordinate critical customer escalations with clear ownership and timely resolution.
