Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a Technical Account Manager to act as a trusted advisor to customers, driving operational excellence across data center IT initiatives. You will partner with operations, engineering, and executives to align Nutanix recommendations with strategic outcomes.

This role emphasizes proactive health checks, lifecycle planning, and cross-functional collaboration, with travel to support major engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles, such as Technical Account Manager, Support Engineer, or Technical Customer Experience Manager.
• Proven experience supporting large enterprise, strategic, or government customers with complex environments.
• Deep expertise in at least one technical domain, such as virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, networking, data protection, or distributed systems.
• Broad understanding of data-center infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, disaster recovery, high availability, security, and enterprise workloads.
• Strong Nutanix platform expertise, including AOS and AHV.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep, technical understanding of the customer’s business priorities, data center architecture, and IT initiatives to serve as a trusted advisor to operations, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
• Lead strategic operational reviews and comprehensive health checks that connect Nutanix recommendations to business outcomes, risk reduction, modernization, and operational efficiency.
• Lead proactive lifecycle planning, including software upgrades, capacity planning, resilience, and platform standardization.
• Identify systemic operational and architectural risks and establish cross-functional action plans to mitigate them.
• Lead or coordinate critical customer escalations, ensuring clear ownership, executive communication, and timely resolution.
