Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Account Manager for ES - WWPS to serve as the principal technical advisor for Enterprise customers, guiding adoption of AWS services and optimization of workloads.

You will work with engineers and service teams to resolve issues, advocate best practices, and lead technical guidance while travel up to 10% as needed. This is a non-sales, high-impact advisory role requiring GovCloud eligibility and collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• This role supports US Federal government customers. Candidates must meet the requirements for GovCloud access and support, which include US citizenship and the ability to pass specific government background checks.

Responsibilities

• Not directly hands on keyboard; you will work with engineers and service teams to see issues through to resolution.
• You will craft and execute strategies to drive customers' adoption and use of AWS services.
• Travel up to 10% or more as needed.
• Represent AWS within a customer’s environment and discuss incidents, trade-offs, and risk with senior leadership.
