Job summary

WithCoverage, based in New York City, is seeking a Sr. Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for Engineering, Product, and Data teams. You will partner with engineering and product leaders to design roles, source top talent, and close senior hires in a fast-growing environment.

You’ll lead proactive sourcing, design structured interviews, manage Greenhouse pipelines, and act as a brand ambassador, shaping how technical hiring scales while aligning compensation discussions with market data.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with the majority spent in-house recruiting for Engineering and Product roles.
• Experience at a startup or growth-stage company through rapid scaling.
• Proven track record of sourcing and closing passive, senior technical talent in a competitive market.
• Comfortable pitching equity and startup compensation, and explaining offers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruiting for Software Engineering, Product Management, Data Science/Engineering, and adjacent technical roles, from intake through offer and close, including senior IC and leadership searches
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Head of Talent and hiring managers on role design, leveling, compensation, and candidate profiles
• Lead proactive, creative sourcing of passive technical talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Gem, Juicebox, and networks
• Pitch and close candidates, including equity discussions and navigating competing offers
• Manage pipelines in Greenhouse, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
• Design and run structured interview processes, calibration sessions, and feedback collection
• Act as a brand ambassador for WithCoverage and translate our technical roadmap to candidates
• Track recruiting metrics and drive improvements in hiring quality and speed
• Build and refine recruiting processes as the engineering org scales
• Mentor and raise the bar for other Talent team members
