Job summary

WithCoverage in New York City is seeking a Sr. Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for Sales, Growth, Product, Risk, and other critical functions. You will partner with leaders, shaping role design, compensation, and candidate profiles while closing senior-level talent.

You will design proactive sourcing strategies, manage structured interviews, and act as a brand ambassador to attract top talent in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, majority in-house.
• Experience at a startup or growth-stage company during rapid scaling.
• Proven track record of sourcing and closing passive, senior talent in competitive markets.
• Comfortable and credible pitching equity and startup compensation.
• Sourcing-focused mindset; proactive, not solely inbound.
• Hands-on with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Gem, and Juicebox.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruiting for Sales, Growth, Product, Risk, and other teams, incl. senior leadership searches.
• Advise Head of Talent and hiring managers on role design and compensation using market data.
• Lead proactive sourcing of passive candidates from startup networks and tools.
• Pitch and close candidates, explain equity and startup offers, navigate competing offers.
• Manage pipelines in Greenhouse and ensure excellent candidate experience.
• Design and run structured interview processes and calibration sessions.
• Be a brand ambassador, translating our roadmap into a recruiting narrative.
• Track recruiting metrics and drive improvements in quality and speed.
• Build recruiting processes, scorecards, and SOPs as the org scales.
• Mentor teammates as the Talent function grows.
