Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent) works in-store to diagnose, repair, and support customers’ devices. You will collaborate with fellow Agents to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document each step of the process for accurate records.

You’ll deliver great customer experiences by listening to needs and providing solutions in person and over the phone. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, plus ongoing training to stay current with

Qualifications

• Six months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting or repairing technology products.
• Experience actively using and learning about consumer electronics.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic discoveries, make recommendations, repair devices and help customers both in-person and over the phone.
• Establish and maintain consistent rhythms for timely follow-up and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
• Partner with other team members to maintain consistent and accurate documentation of customer requests and repairs.
• Ensure all repair tasks are completed in a timely manner and partner with leaders when issues arise.
• Maintain knowledge, skillsets and certifications through training courses.
