Job summary

affirm is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (Senior TAM, L6) to own the operational health of strategic alliances, monitor integrations, and drive technical initiatives.

You will mentor teammates, lead cross-functional projects, and design custom integration solutions while ensuring SLA delivery and fast issue resolution. This remote-first role offers broad ownership across US accounts.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in a technical, external-facing role such as TAM, Solutions/Partner Engineering, or Solutions Architecture.
• Strong ownership of operational health and SLAs across merchant accounts.
• Proficient in RESTful APIs, webhooks, HTTP, and debugging with Postman.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational aspect of technical account management across affirm's strategic alliance portfolio.
• Deliver against SLAs and surface technical risks early.
• Perform investigations and root-cause analysis across logs and integration data.
• Drive technical initiatives with stakeholders to grow account value after launch.
• Design and deliver high-scope, custom integration solutions.
• Act as a technical lead for internal projects and define milestones.
• Operationalize best practices with playbooks, runbooks, and KTLO reduction.
