Job summary

affirm is a remote-first company enabling merchants to pay over time with clear terms. As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will own operational health across affirm's strategic alliance portfolio, drive SLAs, and lead custom integration initiatives that translate merchant goals into technical solutions.

You will mentor teammates, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and expand account value through cross-functional launches and optimizations.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as Technical Account Management or Solutions/Architecture.
• Proven ability to own operational health of technical accounts and deliver against SLAs.
• Strong API, integration, and debugging capabilities; able to design custom solutions on top of RESTful APIs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; capable of leading initiatives and mentoring teammates.

Responsibilities

• Own operational health of strategic alliance accounts; monitor, triage, and resolve issues quickly.
• Deliver against SLAs and surface technical risks proactively.
• Lead investigations across logs and data; escalate when needed to cross-functional partners.
• Drive launch initiatives and optimizations to expand account value post-launch.
• Design and deliver high-scope integrations; balance speed, quality, and maintainability.
• Act as technical lead on internal projects and mentor junior TAMs.
• Create playbooks and runbooks; reduce KTLO work while improving reliability.
