Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) team leader to guide a group of TAMs serving SMB merchants. You will collaborate with Client Success, Product Management, Operations and Merchant Care to ensure technical success post-sale and maximize value from Affirm’s product suite.

You will recruit, coach and set OKRs for your team, drive proactive plans, and work cross-functionally to align merchant priorities with engineering and product roadmaps.

Qualifications

Five+ years in a B2B, customer-facing technical role.
Three+ years of people management experience.
Strong background in web development technologies and REST APIs.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Bonus: e-commerce or in-store retailer experience.

Responsibilities

Coach, mentor and develop TAMs supporting SMB merchants.
Collaborate with Client Success to help merchants grow post-launch.
Set and track team OKRs; plan proactive actions to meet goals.
Forecast TAM demand and recruit when needed.
Evaluate new hires’ technical capabilities and handle escalations.
Advocate for merchants across functions to align priorities.
