Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to own the operational health of technical accounts within the strategic alliance portfolio.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure SLA delivery while guiding cross-functional initiatives that translate merchant needs into technical strategies. In this remote-first role, you will start with operational health of merchant integrations and progressively own a book of strategic accounts, mentoring teammates and leading technical

Qualifications

• Experience owning operational health of technical accounts and delivering against SLAs.
• Strong API, integration, and architecture understanding with ability to design custom solutions.
• Proven ability to mentor teammates and lead cross-team technical initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to tailor explanations for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational aspect of technical account management to keep merchant integrations healthy and responsive.
• Deliver against SLAs and proactively surface technical risks before impact.
• Investigate issues end-to-end using logs and data, escalating when needed.
• Lead cross-team initiatives and partner with product/engineering on launches and optimizations.
• Design and deliver custom integration solutions grounded in standard patterns, balancing speed and reliability.
• Act as technical lead on internal projects and mentor junior TAMs.
